With their dense nutritional profile, smoothies can be a great way to refuel and replenish after a workout. This recipe is Paleo-friendly and brimming with nutrition from healthy fats, omega-3s, protein, antioxidants, fiber, and a minimal amount of low glycemic carbohydrates. Protein is most important for satiety and post-workout recovery, so we incorporated a scoop of collagen for an extra dose.
- 8 oz coconut milk
- 2oz water
- 1 scoop Vital Proteins collagen
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- top with Original Grain Free Granola or Chocolate Fix Grain Free Granola
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until well-combined.
